knowing & accepting yourself: clearing identity crisis & shadows of the past
for assistance with a shift of perception of self, changing how you are moving and being in the world, releasing the protective casing, a time when you feel like you are ready to come out of hiding and you don’t know what to do or how to do it.
releasing old stories and versions of self, ones that we carry but don’t feel right for us any more.
clearing learned hatred of the self, hatred of the divine/god, disgust with self, guilt, shame, again themes of just not liking yourself, being annoyed with yourself or ways you communicate and interact - which leads to hiding, isolation, negation of the self, oppression of the self and/or others, mistrust, resistance to community, fear of being yourself and then attracting a reality that is not for you because you aren’t being yourself.
we work towards knowing and accepting the self, resting in the reality of spirit to bring this with you wherever you are and wherever you go.
clearing the false belief that god / some force is against you, this is the root of self sabotage along with many other manifestations of guilt / fear that we discern as different but are really all the same.
assistance in right perception, detaching from physical circumstances in the sense that changing them from their own side is not the goal, not where the focus of healing lies, assistance in discerning what is the same and what is different, what is cause and what is effect and where change and healing really occur.
understanding you can’t hold onto some illusions and let go of others, there are no degrees of illusion, they are all equally unreal.
exploring the science of the mind, from the direct experience of the mind
believing in yourself, in your own holiness and ability to be aligned with divine will which is One. it is happiness for you in this now.
accepting happiness and community for yourself in this now.
compassionate neutrality, neutralizing the sense of the self, unconditional positive regard for the self and all life, present mindedness, not looking on self or others with the eyes of the past.
true discernment is being able to see illusion from truth, not between different kinds of illusion and there are not different kinds of truth. orders of reality always lead to judgement and value assessments of “better”, “right” “above” “friend” and their opposites “worse”, “wrong”, “beneath”, “enemy”. we rest in neutrality to see the clearly this kind of perception and the world that it leads to.
releasing the narrative of healing as a struggle, you won’t want to awaken if you think it is too difficult. if you don’t allow the experience of joy, you won’t stick to the practice because you are not allowing the reality of love to be real for you and so you have no basis for what the work is for.
neutralizing opinions and attitudes towards things you don’t like about yourself.
